Evie, thank you for telling us about that guy. So his site is the place where ugly rumours about Jake are born. Disgusting.

^ Yes, Ted C. is no real Jake fan. He actually has a very unhealthy obsession with Jake, and should not be given any credit or promotion. Actually, I am surprised that Jake's camp has not gone after Ted and his column. You cannot stop websites from commenting/speculating on an individual's personal life/sexuality, but when that columnist is spreading made up stories/lies as the absolute truth, I think that is where a line is crossed imo.

Thanks, Evie, I didn't know that. Now that you mention it, his post does not seem so innocent after all. How disgusting for someone to write stuff like that. I will ignore his site from now on.

Thanks for letting us know about the site. Glad I never read it before and glad that I will continue not too. As stated before, it up to Jake to let his fans and others know what he likes. We like for who he is and will continue to do so.

Jake was very brief, but also very precise. ;D I like what he said. I would love to hear more, if it was anything else.

The article says these quotes will be published in the November issue of, what, Cosmopolitan? (I forgot to note the magazine), so we can check it out from this point on. The fact that Jake's quote is so short makes me think that's all he said, and I'd guess that it was offered up for this issue. The line has a lot of truth in it--I always regard Jake as a very sexual, physical guy --but it also sounds tongue-in-cheek. In other words, Jake chooses to show his mischievous side, and by doing so doesn't reveal any deeper or more tender thoughts. LOL. Very clever.

Sasha, book, mermon: You're welcome. I hate to even acknowledge TC's existence, but I wanted you relatively new Gyllenhaalics to understand where he's coming from and encourage all of us to pay no further attention to him.

- Kate from WDW assumes that quote is not fresh, but from LAOD time.

Kate from WDW assumes that quote is not fresh, but from LAOD time. I think I remember him saying that in a TV interview during the LAOD promo time. Because even back then I thought "How awesome would that be." Maybe it was one of the interviews he did for German TV? If I have time the next couple of days I'll check to see if I can find it.

I can't imagine what that must feel like being followed around and photographed constantly. Probably annoying more than anything! Be-lated quoting dear but i completely agree with you. There's not this much fun in staring at those pic... And a short note about this pic: I love how Gyllenhaal looks, and for the first time seems that Williams pick-up a nice dress for a premiere, i think this is one of the first time i've seen Gyllenhaal pictured with glasses, that's maybe explaing why he's a bit nervous....but he's sexy Love His sentence in the mag even if like Evie pointed sound not pretty new...uhmmmm

Well as i've been away for a while i've taken some time to read all this news thread, beside that there's not this big news about Gyllenhaal projects and it's a pity, i would had reade something coming out, but about Ted Casablanca we should really have to care about this person? I hate people like him, always ready to stir attention in audience with the lowest way possible.... Seems also that going on from a while, i felt pain for Gyllenhaal, minus that everyone recently try to paint him as mischievous and cunning, more over also pointed about his sexual orientation, well i'm itred to real alwasy the same shites about Gyllenhaal, as he's much more real than any othre actor or celebrity known since a while....

Welcome back Maria, nice to have you here. I totally agree with you. but when we are tired of those nasty gossips or invented stories, just imagine what he may feel. Lately is another ugly thing spreading through internet, twitter at least. I don't even want to mention it. But people spread it constantly and cruelly, without thinking. I hate when people hurt someone for stupid fun, like a celebrity was not a feeling human being. I suppose those things happen to many celebrities, I just don't follow anyone but Jake, so I'm writing about him. That's a sign of our soulless times.

It's so easy to bash a person on the net, like twitter or something. Noone sees your face, knows who you are. You don't have to tell it to the person's face. People would think twice about what they are saying if they had to say it out loud in a room full of people.
On the other hand, what should Jake do about it. The more attention he gives to those people trying to defend himself, the more fun they have in poking him. I guess that's one of the reasons he stays away from social media. That way nobody can address him personally with their stupid lines.
