Well, MM is not one of my favorite Jake films but I enjoyed it, I love Dustin and Susan and if you add Jake to that, then I sure had to like the movie. But I see what Maria says, and also agree with Sasha because maybe if I had seen it before I watched some other great films with Jake in them, that one would have gone unnoticed.

good good chart Anna, Donnie Darko isin't amovie that is usually is on top of prefernce, and loves and other drugs is a nice movie! Deb thank you to get my point, sometimes i wondering why i like less some Gyllenhaal movies, and that's pushing me to keep trying to investigate the reason why it happens.

I think it's only normal that you like some of his movies more than his others Everyone has their favourite movies and reasons why their favourite movies appeal to them personally more than other movies I like Moonlight Mile, but it is not in the list of my favourite Jake movies. My favourite Jake movies are Brokeback Mountain, Jarhead, The Good Girl, Love & Other Drugs, Rendition, October Sky, Source Code

well sometimes we cannot understand why we liked some movies more than others, because at least taste aren't predictable, but try to grasping logically some of the reson why i like a movie more than another is funny in the end, as you've learning more about yourself.

gavrilova1993 - I like almost the same movies like you. For me no 1 is Brokeback Mountain, no 2 - Donnie Darko, but no 3 is Prince of Persia, maybe together with Source Code. Of course I adore all Jake's movies, just some of them more.

Source Code has definately altered my chart. It's way on the top now. It's funny, but it has little to do with the movie itself:
1. Source Code - because I met Jake through it. 2. Prince of Persia - because it got my caught in the Gyllennet 3. Love and Other Drugs - because it was my first Jake Movie in theaters - and because "Jamie" is so hot.
As for characters (meaning the person Jake portrays, regardless of how much I liked the movie) my chart would be: 1. The Good Girl - because "Tom" scared the living hell out of me 2. Highway - because "Pilot" rules. Period. (But I don't like Highway as a movie that much, if that makes any sense.) 3. a Prince of Perisa (again) - I just love Dastan. b Source Code - Colter is just too hot!

Sasha - that's interesting! My types after SC. Movies: 1. Brokeback Mountain - number one forever in my heart. No other movie touched me like that one. Every time I even think about that story I'm in such a strange mood - a kind of sad, deep sweetness. Hard to explain. 2. Donnie Darko - moved me a lot, made a researcher of me. It's a complex movie - music, actors, story - everything together - a masterpiece - just like BBM. Both of the movies still very, very fresh, after all those years. And they still find new audience loving it. 3. Prince of Persia + Source Code - I just love POP. Regardless some opinions - it's wonderful movie for me, great music, story, actors, pictures everything. And my first Jake's movie - new life for me. ;D I think I will always love it. I will watch it with my grandchildren. ;D Source Code is such a good movie for me - entertaining, touching and the same time. I love Jake's look in it. I like the story very much. As a character: 1. Jack Twist, of course. I think - it's his best role so far. Very mature, warm, joyful, touching, painful. One of the kind. Worth Oscar and any other possible rewards. 2. Donnie Darko - I adore this boy, Jake played him so well - weird, mature, wise, smart, clever ,a bit nasty, adorable, ready to sacrifice, brave.... + Dastan - prince charming + Colter - sweet, brave guy, he touches my heart more and more, every time I watch SC. I even like his fake torso - such a charming face.(am I crazy? ) 3. Pilot - incredible boy, a mix of good and little bad, a lot of charm and some maturity. Very loveable. + Jamie - charming (I see - I find most Jake characters - charming , sensitive, handsome, with great body, good heart. I like him in relationship, not boring at all. And all the rest - I like them all - no exceptions!
