Naa, that's okay, Maria. I understand your point better now. I have to say I like the video for what it means to Jake. He was so proud of his "first" role and gave it his best. But I still rather see his movies beyond 2000, when he was turning into a man. Even looking at the child one remembers what a fine, sexy man that kid will turn into and that makes you feel like a cradle snatcher, right?

I hate paparazzi and their pics and I respect people's private life, but concerning this vid, I think there's nothing wrong with it. It's just from a movie, Jake's first movie, and he was a cute kid, that's all, nothing wrong with it imo

With Highway I have now seen 14 1/2 of Jake's 21 movies (of L&A I saw the Jake scenes only). I don't think I will see A Dangerous Woman, Homegrown and Josh and Sam, so that only leaves - October Sky - Moonlight Mile and - Brothers to fill the time until EOW is being shot and released.

Els and Sasha do not worry for me, it's just me, even in my family we're a bit uncomfortable to see movies that have as main actor a child, i guess it's just my education, at least, nothing wrong really <3 As for your missing list of Gyllenhaal's movie If you have the chance as first choice i suggest October Sky and Brothers!

Don't worry about it, Maria <3 From your short list, Sasha, I like "October Sky" the most! But I also liked MM and "Brothers" (although that movie left me with a depressed feeling)

I think I will order them all on amazon, throw them in a box and the first one to be pulled out will get a try. But I will make myself wait at least after I saw Source Code in theaters again before watching a new Jake movie, don't wanna "waste" new Jake stuff.

I haven't seen yet: -A Dangerous Woman -Josh and S.A.M -Homegrown -Lovely & Amazing (but I've seen the parts Jake is in...does that count?) -Source Code (I so want to see it!! just nobody would come to the movies with me to watch it!) I don't think I will see A Dangerous Woman, Homegrown and Josh and Sam, so that only leaves - October Sky - Moonlight Mile and - Brothers I suggest October Sky as well, also liked MM and Brothers, but like els said, that last one leaves you with a depressed feeling, anyway, Jake is great in all of them. But I love October Sky,he's so young and cute... and the movie is beautiful

I just saw MOONLIGHT MILE.
Jake has been a really exceptional actor even at this young age (and with this "funny" hairdo). I will definately see it again. I also loved Susan and Dustin, what a wonderful cast.

I'm glad you liked Monlight mile, Sasha, even if in my pov the movie isin't well filmed in my pov there's something that didn't work, but of course it's just my personal opinion.

I guess it also depends on when you see a movie. Maybe if it had been one of my first Jake-movies I would have thought differently, but now - knowing what a fine actor Jake grew into - makes me appreciate how much of it already showed back then. And Susan and Dustin are two outstanding actors I enjoy a lot, I was impressed that they couldn't intimidate Jake and that he stood out as his own character next to them.
