I have seen all of Jakes movies and I have them all on dvd and two of them on VHS (ADW and JaS) Those three first movies, where Jake was a child indeed, are all three worth watching, imo! "City Slickers" is great and fun and even sometimes moving (and I like Billy Crystal, and also Jack Palance is great in this movie, he got an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for it, well deserved imo!), "A Dangerous Woman" (Debra Winger is great in this one, very believable, she got a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress for her role here, she deserved it imo!) and "Josh and SAM" are interesting dramas, imo.

That's true. Some of them I could find in Belgium in online shops -to my surprise Some I couldn't find in Belgium, but found (cheap, second hand) on EBay (like the VHS tapes from ADW and JaS) and some are downloaded -legally- from the net by my brother and my boyfriend's dad

Sasha-Annie: You need to see PoP - it's my all time fav. Not because it's that good, just because it made me fall in love with Jake. And IMO it's the only Jake movie (well maybe besides LAOD and TDAT) that requires no real thinking, just enjoying Jake looking good. He was so worked up for that movie, I love his muscles... I think you should give MM and October Sky a try. I haven't seen them yet either, but hear only good about them.

Annie-I think you should give them all a try as i have watched and love all of them and I totally agree with sasha about watching POP. It is a great movie and Jake is sooooooooooo gorgeous in it It's a really good movie where you can just sit back and admire Jake's beautiful body and great acting of course As for Lovely and amazing it's a good movie in my opinion but not the best, i've seen it once and don't intend on watching again lol And Proof is one i would highly recommend watching. BTW what's your fav movie so far?

Actually I haven't seen Brothers yet, so I wouldn't be able to tell, but it's true, not a whole lot of talking about that one.
My top 3 would be PoP LAOD Source Code

- I like Brothers a lot. Tommy/Jake is very interesting, easy to like, warm, family guy. That is not an easy film. There are some scenes very difficult to watch. Especially one. When I watched that movie for a second time, I bypassed that scene. But the movie general is very touching, about family. That was a second Jake's movie I've watched, after my first one - POP. The same week, in the theatre. My top 3: BBM Donnie Darko Prince of Persia I didn't see Source Code yet, the things may change. But those three movies have special place in my heart. They moved me like no other films.

^ I loved Jake in Brothers. I think it is definitely one of his best performances. In my top 5 for sure. It's very subtle and nuanced, but also very strong and moving.
As for me, there are a few I haven't seen, or seen fully. But I've seen and loved most. He's grown so much as an actor.

To me there is a difference between "favourtie movie" and "favourtie performance".
Because one of my favourite performances was "The good Girl". I can't get over the fact how well Jake played Holden/Tom. Maybe because Holden scared me so much. I didn't think Jake could do that to me. But the movie itself is not my fav because I have liked other movies better as a whole. I don't know if that makes any sense.

it does make sense to me but I never made a difference in these two things, not consciously
