Looks like Jake is telling the photographer to back off. But that pap didn't give up and followed him right out of the building.
Could this trip have something to do with Into the Woods? Or maybe promo for Prisoners?
Jake's brother-in-law, Peter Sarsgaard, has a featured role in the new season of The Killing, the TV series on AMC channel. I saw it last night, and he's really good, playing a very grim character. In an interview once Jake said Peter was an actor who inspired him.

So the rumors about Jake being seen in LA were true! He wears my favourite sunglasses. I like his travel's style. He was just freshly shaved and here we are, stubble again. He looks good, although, he's not happy for sure of paparazzi's presence. I don't blame him! He sticks to his new, Prisoners' hairdo. Very masculine look, don't you think so?

He looks like a modern young man. That stubble face is all over American TV, even on men in proper suits and ties. But it's carefully trimmed, which is the way I like it best on Jake. The hairdo may be in place for his appearances doing Prisoners promotion--to link his current look with his look in the film.
