Grape said Cwazy, the hidden Gale was the very first Gale in the entire image. It wasn't really meant to be hidden, but it sort of turned out that way. You sort of have to squint and let your eyes go all blurry to see it...
Uh huh...still don't see it and how do I know which was the first image? If you're using P'Shop and doing layers you could have switched them around a lot of times........so this one has me totally lost, considering that I can pretty much see Gale almost anywhere, anytime, in anything, etc., this is stupefying me.

Thanks Cwazy and Grapes for making me feel better about the lack of face-suckage on NYE. I know the ex is an ass - I just have to keep reminding myself! Cwazy - how are your ailments?  Barbara - thanks for that info on the Klaus casting...do they mean that Gale *looks* too old or that he *is* too old? Our Galey looks in his early thirties at the very least, so I'm assuming they're talking about his chronological age. Gale's too good for Vampire Diaries anyway. Tru Blood on the other hand..... |

Barbara - thanks for that info on the Klaus casting...do they mean that Gale *looks* too old or that he *is* too old? Our Galey looks in his early thirties at the very least, so I'm assuming they're talking about his chronological age. Gale's too good for Vampire Diaries anyway. Tru Blood on the other hand..... I have no idea why they think he's too old. Especially in that type of role. Wasnt the actor who played Angel in his 40's? |

Hi All.
Actually David B. or Angel is the same age as Gale. So when he played in that show it was maybe 5 years ago, but I am not sure. I feel terrible for Gale and that unfortunately he is already considered "too old" by Hollywood standards for many roles.
I am hopeful that he can capitalize on his incredible skills to earn a role that is perfect for him. Some people believe that Gale's decision to take the role of Brain Kinney negatively influenced his career. I do not agree. I think it was a role of a life time for a young actor and he played it beautifully. If anything it demonstrates Gale's amazing abilities.
I do remember reading that Gale stated that he is still waiting for that role of a life time, but I actually think that Gale's role of a life time was Brian Kinney and that hopefully he will find other work, but he will most likely not be the main lead in a highly successful show as QAF again. However, you never know and I am hopeful for both Gale and Randy. They are both extremely talented and deserve success. ;D

I think people are making too big of a deal out of Vampire Diaries saying Gale is too old. They have a certain "type" in mind and he is older than that vision. I don't think it was some back-handed insult or slight, I think it was just a statement of fact. Gale is 41 and they don't envision this character as that old. Gale is handsome as hell and still smokin' hot, but he doesn't look like he's thirty anymore, the truth hurts.
It's the CW, so of course their target audience is like 14-24, most of which would not root for a main character, sex-symbol who is 40. They would see that as "old", talk to any teenager and they'll tell you life ends at 30. I remember being so grossed out when I found out the cast of (the original) 90210 was over 30, and I was 13ish at the time.
That is why he isn't the main protagonist on HC, b/c the main characters are early 20's. That doesn't mean he's too old for TV... I don't think we need to get all up in arms and insulted for Gale. Just saying... XOXOXOX

I swear I read an interview with Gale ages ago where he said that the role of Brian Kinney was his 'once in a lifetime role'...as for the whole Hollywood casting process, I thought it was women who are considered 'over the hill' once they reach their forties, not men!  |

Cwazy and Grape thank you for your concern. We also have those adages here. My mom says: He that will not hear must feel.  I started with beer and had the Champagne at midnight. BIG mistake, but i feel better now. I drank green tea by the liter the last two days, that´s the best medicine. And, yes, it is illegal is some places to set off fireworks inside the city limits, ESPECIALLY if the county is under a burn ban due to drought conditions. Aha! That makes totally sense to me. Thanks for clarification.  And what a coincidence! I also watched BH 90210 when i was 10 or 11 years old! I adored Dylan! *blushes* I can imagine Gale as a vampire but i agree, the target audience is too young - they want twenty-somethings! And that´s OK. Qafnewbie welcome back. XOXOXOX You're right Grapes - I guess I was being a bit too over-sensitive on Gale's behalf CW does market to people in their early twenties and I guess they were saying that Galey is simply too old for the part of Klaus, and not that he looks too old... Hi All. I am soo glad that we will finally get to see Lortan Lake, yeah!!! ;D On another topic, I know someone on here was an OZ fan like I am and I just saw that HBO is rerunning the series. I find it strange that SHOWTIME never reruns Queer as Folk, I mean they still own the show and it has been well received worldwide, why not re-show it. Either way, I am OK because I have my DVD set to keep me warm and happy.  |

I know this video is as old as the hills, and it's past the holidays and Christmas, but to me it's one of the most charming and cutest animations for the season...hope you agree, even if you have seen it before!
