OMG! Blondie Jake!! He looks so skinny and very different!! Yet still handsome.

This look is amazing. I can see the character immediately, and yes, he looks hungry; crafty too, and smart-ass. The clothes are so different from what Jake would wear, yet he wears them comfortably. The hairdo is funny. The right-side part with the unruly hair plastered down around his face is very un-Jake. It's an 80s vibe, though I'm not sure that's the time frame of the film. Wonderful to see his whole face again, gaunt as he is. I'm praying he'll put some meat back on his bones after Nightcrawlers wraps and return to his normal self.

The article from Australian GQ was saying Jake's next project after Prisoners was the Everest film and that that's what he was getting thin for. Obviously that wasn't accurate, but I'm wondering if he needs to stay emaciated for that too. It doesn't sound right, that anyone would start climbing Mount Everest in an underweight condition. But maybe the extreme scenes that show the rigorous effects of the climb will be shot first and then Jake will chow down and regain some flesh to shoot the earlier scenes. LOL--now I'm a director!

He seems so different as Lou! He could say - "It's new me!"
It's not my favorite Jake's look, but will be interesting to watch him like that. I wonder if he feels comfortable like that. I remember when I lost too much weight some time ago, I felt so unhealthy and weird with myself.
It's funny to see him like that freshly after seeing him in Prisoners where he was quite buff.
