Great pictures! On curtain call's photos Jake looks very happy and proud of the play. Looks like they got applause from the audience. I found Jake's hairdo from that day very attractive!

Thanks Stephanie yes Jakes looks pretty happy from the reviews I have read most are pretty good especially regarding the acting Yes, you can feel how happy he is. I get the impression there was a lot of applause that went on for a while. At the preview I saw, the actors only took one bow to rather lukewarm applause. I see the show again at the end of October, and I'm expecting improvements. I read a few of the reviews, and they all praised Jake and the acting in general. The critics were kinder than I expected (I didn't like the play), but the NY Times did point out that the staging effects were gimmicky and rather unnecessary, and I had felt that way too. So now I'm a critic too!!!LOL ;D

It will be interesting to hear your second opinion, Evie.
I agree, after the first previews I was half expecting critics to smash Jake for his choice. IMO it speaks for his acting if even the critics who didn't like the play, say that Jake was good in it. Critics have been so eager to criticize him in the past, I'm sure they would have been a lot less kind if he were no good.
I know we always think he's excellent, but it must be great for him to have others say it too. I hope Maggie or one of his assistants saves all the snippets for when he reads them after he's done with the play.
