Oh, thank you for that! I'll check. That's fantastic interview, maybe you're right and I brought it here. Yes "It's nice" sounds almost the same with his great voice. Glad to have helped!

I don't mind that much that Ledger couldn't play the Ennis role, sorry girls, as the sequel as i imagine it, is based mostly on Jack ashes and Bobby and Alma lifes, not sure if this makes sense but this supposed sequel could be much more into sons view then the rest, sure some flashback moment would be great but not that much, as at that time Jack could be the main character, at least some cutted scenes could comes handy or just some effects for Ennis's scenes. It could work that way, that's true. Plus for the flashback moments we could use scenes that have been shot for BBM but never made it into the movie...

I have an idea for Good Girl's two sequels.
First, I wrote already in GG topic - the child resembles Holden a lot, the story starts when Holden is adult enough to be played by Jake. Jennifer is aged a little. And we may follow the story of life of very sensitive Holden junior, who maybe becomes a writer, has to struggle with dad - loving him, but wishing more male job/occupation for him - like painting walls, for example ;D.
And second idea. Holden doesn't die. Escapes somehow from motel, but forgetting or not able to take stolen money. So police doesn't chase him. He's free. I would love to see his life. He could have a small accident, get to the hospital. There they take care of him, helping him to get mentally well. He starts to live normal life, falls happily for nurse from the hospital, write a book, not so depressing like before. The book is very good. Brings him success. He's quite rich. Producers want to make a movie. He becomes very popular. Justine finds out about him. One day he passes that little town where he lived before and sees young guy looking like himself. ;D (a double role for Jake). Of course he knows straight away, that he is his son and decides to meet Justine, wants to let know Holden Junior, who he is. Justine begs him not to complicate her life again, but he can't give up on his own son, mad that he lost so many years of his life. Justine is in big stress, wants to protect her family and life. Some people suspected in the past, that her son may be Holden's, because of their similarity. But those gossip never reached her husband, because people like him and have a pity for him. But now when Holden comes back it's not a chance to keep the secret. The husband finds out that all his life was build on lies. Suffers terribly. The gossips got to Holden Junior and he wants to meet his real father. The meeting is extraordinary, cause they look identically. They understand each other so well, cause they are so much mentally alike. Both are sensitive, talented in writing guys. Holden Junior leaves his parents, wants to try to live with Holden Senior, to get to know him, to live in bigger city. Justine suffers a lot - that's a kind of payment/punishment for her behaviour in the past. But because I am not cruel, Holden Junior comes to her for vacation, cause he loves his mother and two fathers. He's a good guy. But he chooses to stay with Holden and his wife, nurse. Starts studying English, become a teacher and the writer too. How do you like it? ;D

wow such detailed and intense, i like the second sequel speculation, even if the one is good too. Very very nice Mermon! I would like that Juniste pay a bit more for her lies, that Holden Jr quit her completely, and stay just with his father, but maybe this happy ending is much more better then my taste for drama!

Despite her bad behaviour, I can't stop to like Justine. Probably thanks to Jennifer and I'm not able to create a story which would be so cruel for a mother, cause I am a mom too. And liking Holden Junior I can't make his mother to suffer too much. He loves her and has no reasons to quit her completely. He just found new life, more convenient for himself, close to HS, but wants to have his mom too. And of course his first father. Phil had his doubts through his life, Holden is so different from him - physically and mentally. But always pushed them away. But loves his son very much, though doesn't understand him too well. When he found out the true was very miserable, angry at Justine, but we Know Phil, he has good heart and forgives her, of course, realising that thanks to her betrayal, he had a joy of being a father. I'm glad that you like my story, Maria.

Very good story, Mermon. Maybe you should be a writer?
The sequel could be called "The good guy" and this time it would not be sarcastically at all.

Very great idea Sasah, you could write a Fan Fiction Mermon, like i'm doing with BBM, i think your story is very very original, and i do like the story, personally i think that it's very credible as sequel.

;D thank you Maria! That's nice of you. Just poor Holden, without any help, condemned for death by a woman he loved, with Jake's face and smile - awoke a need in me to create parallel world for him. More happy. ;D

Do not thank me Meromon, i guess you can develop this story to write a short shory on you own, as it's very original! It's great that in our fantasy we can fix something that in movies we like it's too sad and painful.

Well, so thinking that way, Maria, we could change BBM from the moment Jack and Ennis walk down from Brokeback Mountain. They say good bye, not even shaking their hands and when Jack sees in his car's mirror Ennis walking his way, he realises, he loves him and goes back. He stops to see Ennis almost vomiting in the "tunnel" and goes to him, embrace him and tells him, what he thinks and feels about him. Ask him to try to be together before he will decide to marry Alma, just to be sure which path to choose. And they live together, having ups and downs, being happy and miserable. Many things could happen. They don't hurt any women, maybe Alma is hurt a bit at the beginning, cause she was expecting to wed Ennis, but she finally finds someone else and she's happy. Jack and Ennis don't have any children, but that's fine with them, they have each other living somewhere, where they feel secure more than in real story. The ending could be sad, like one of them, or even both get killed from the same reasons Jack died, but at least they have nothing to regret, they are happy as possible in their situation. I think, I would prefer if they die together killed by some crazy homophobes. Being together even after death. THE END!

awoke a need in me to create parallel world for him. Based on Donnie Darko, PoP and Source Code - Jake has a thing for parallel worlds - so he might be interested in this sequel!

Seems quite interesting even in that way, ;D but beside the tragic end all become in my pov too much corny, too easy, not sure if this makes sense, LOL as i don't like that much Ennis as character, if i can change something i'll make him a big brave then he is in the original movie. Ad maybe at least Jack and Ennis could fine happyness later, when both get older, and the time has changed a bit towards homosexuality. We make several possible sequel if we change the details of the original movie, i can also imagine that Jack met the right man at the rodeo and build a ranch with him, or that Jack became a rodeo star supported by his new mate, why not?

Sasha - - yes! Indeed. It is something about Jake's movies, though they are so different, time travel and parallel words themes appear in them. Maria - I want to defend Ennis - in my version of movie he is brave, he decided to skipped the wedding and stayed with Jack! Your ideas are nice as well. I just prefer Jack with Ennis. And they may live till they will age. I choose tragic ending to make a movie more unforgettable and to show that today people are still cruel and are not tolerant at all. Unfortunately. To give people something to talk about. I would not wish Jack to become a rodeo star, cause I wouldn't want him to get hurt or injured or killed even. But that's your idea. I would gladly read about that.
