We use to say in Poland - "Through the stomach to man's heart". We have the same saying! You're welcome.

Hehehe, that's nice. At last we are neighbours! I like your avatar, Mermon. Jack going over to care for Ennis, after accidently hitting him with his knee

Trekfan - - thank you so much! I like a look on Jack's face on that pic. Here is a bigger version - not very "clean". I found Jake very handsome when he's serious.

eausavage - - It could be. trekfan - I don't think it is from the fight, cause they are too clean, and Jack has a jacket. During that fighting scene they both had only shirts on. It could be shortly after first tent scene, cause Ennis face looks like he would felt quite guilty. He looks almost exactly the same like in the tent, the second time I think, when he came to Jack when he lean his head toward Jack's head, just before kissing scene. But of course it's not that scene. It's too late now for me to check it with the movie. It really could be behind the scene.

I don't know if northamerican moose is any different to european elk but I sure like to have some again. I like game meat a lot actually.

I wouldn't say I love liver, I have never eaten it as meat type, but I like liver dumplings and my MIL makes a stew made of liver and lungs. It sounds so grose, but it's actually quite good.

Liver, expecially of lamb, it's very delicious, and very healthy for children, also in Italy we cook liver with onions and red wine, cut in stripes, this recipes is called "venecian liver"

If it's with red wine it sure will taste good, but I am not sure if it is suitable for kids then :-) My kids like the liver-and-lung-stew actually.
