While I do admit that I miss Jake a bit, I'm glad for him to have such a good time.

This is the third one, which was actually the first one. Bad quality.

This is the third one, which was actually the first one. Bad quality. Is that a laptop or an iPad he's working on? Even though it's great to see Jake (and to know he's in NY), I don't like the fact that people were photographing him indoors, on his own private time. These pictures surely were taken with a phone--that's why the quality is poor. And they're from a safe distance too. I can't imagine a pap trailing around after Jake in a museum or cafe. The people around him don't seem to be paying him any attention, except maybe for whoever he was talking to in one of these photos. It must be a real pleasure for Jake to have his own quiet time, to contemplate museum exhibits and do whatever on the computer.

It look likes like its a lap top and not a tablet. I agree about the pics there are VERY private. It is great to see him relaxed and enjoying himself. How did you guys fugure he was in NYC?

I have just recently started to use twitter. I have to say it's much more fun now that I have it on my mobile than versus when I just had it on my PC at home.
It's really a great source for information, especially right now where there are basically no pictures or other information throught the regular sources.

Well about the pics i agree with Evie, aslo she's probably right that those pics was taken with i-phone... and about twitter i simply dislike it, some infos and news you may find there could be fake, aboyt 80% of them are i don't get the sense of snooping continuosly into the celebrities's life just to get more contatcs on some blog.... in found such funny, constantly chasing a bit of popularity, spying on celebrities LOL There's not much of deal in getting infos how Gyllenhaal spent his time here and there in NY, but maybe it's just that i don't find interesting stuff like that

I agree, some celeb profiles are fake, but other's are real and it's interesting to get to know this side of a celeb as well. I "follow" Kevin Spacey and it's funny to read his tweets, I like him as an actor. He even offered to play in someone's short film (as part of a school project), I bet most students would never have a chance to work with someone like him, if it wasn't to this kind of technology.
But we had good lives before all this and I'm sure one's able to manage without just as well.

Maria, your are our voice of rationality! ;D I have my twitter account just from few days, and I find it quite interesting so far. Maybe some tweets are fake, but some are pretty funny. People of both sexes express their love for Jake in funny way sometimes. They give links to interesting sites - interviews, reviews, pictures etc. Remind us about voting for Jake. Share their admiration for Jake's movies. It's nice. That's true they also give us Jake's sightings, but they are not so intrusive like paps. And we just know how Jake is doing. If we had to wait only for the movies it would be not that much. We are not that strong as you are Maria. I think Jake's fandom is so strong not only because of the movies (mainly), but also because of his personality and private life. Just the very seldom movies and promotion time couldn't be enough to feed our emotions for Jake. That's what I think about it, respecting and admiring your voice. Twitter may be also a bad thing for celebrity. I remember Robert Pattinson complaining that after somebody tweets about him being somewhere immediately a crowd of crazy fans shows up, complicating his privacy completely. But with Robert it's a madness. I never heard - Jake experienced such a riots of fans after some tweet's sighting.

Well, I read that Kim Kardashian got $10,000 every time she tweets. Thats one way of making easy money. I have not idea if its true.
Glad to know that Jake, so far, has not been mobbed by people because of tweeter.
