Let's wait for Sasha. Otherwise we will invent some other nonsense jokes. The joke is not about Jake himself. Those kind of necklaces (especially if made out of flowers) are called "LEI" in Hawaii and sometimes when people get a necklace put around their neck they say: "I got LEI-ed" which, when you say it out loud sound like "laid" which people usually use to say they had sex. That's what I have been thinking about...

Sasha, you really are wise girl, knowing so much. I never heard about "LEI", so I would never could understand that joke without your explanation. By the way, we learn a lot here.

Has nothing to do with being wise, Mermon, mainly "Been there, done that." I heard the joke so many times when I was in Hawaii, that I keep forgetting that other people might not know.
But I'm glad I was able to share it.

Yes, I know what you mean, Jess. I was on Oahu, but my friends husband is a helicopter pilot in the Army. So we got to use a beach that is reserved for the Army and their family only. There were no tourists. Just us 20 or so people all the way up and down the beach. It was like in paradise!

We went for our honeymoon and his cousin rented us a one room house and it had it own beach. It didn't have many people on it. It was great to just walk and enjoy the view.
