HAHA...He jumped on Oprah couch..screaming that he was in love. I know that one should not read into pic and what mag say about them BUT...Holmes looks unhappy at times...Almost like he smothers her or somthing...just weird.

Totally agree. He used to be such a nice man (at least he appeared like that), but now he's just weird.

What did he do on Oprah? Describe it, please. That was right around the time he first started dating Katie Holmes. He jumped on the sofa and threw his arms in the air like he won some kind of price and kept saying how much he was in love and how great Katie was. I was looking for a video on you tube, but couldn't find a decent one. I mean - not that it's wrong to be madly in love, but it just looked so fake and put on...

Thank you girls for answering my question. I think i remember that. I used to like him even a lot too. When he was with Nicole Kidman. I liked that couple. I couldn't believe what he did to her. I like him very much in Top Gun, my favourite Far and Away - simply great movie to me. Minority Report and Mission Impossible - also very good. And when he got involved in Scientology - he became very weird. His marriage to Kate is also weird to me, at least in the media's eyes. And Suri - how they can allow her to wear high heels. It will destroy her little spine and feet.

my favourite Far and Away I like that movie a lot, I used to watch in everytime it was on TV. They were so cute together. Well, my daughter has some "princess heels" too, they are out of yellow plastic and she wears them around the house when she dresses up as a princess. So I understand why Suri would want to do that. But it's a parent's job to make sure that she knows when it's okay to play and where it's not.

Ummm...not sure what to say...I know my girls have worn dress up shoes around the house but the shoes Suri is wearing don't look like it but it could be just a thing...I have seen LOTS of parents let there kids wear pjs,,, to dress up clothes...house slipper. Things that I would tell my kids no. I'm no fashion icon but I think you should dress appropriate when going outside.

I totally agree, Jessica. In Germany there has been this "trend" to let kids wear whatever they want to, instead of making a fight over what to wear when. I never did and never will do that with my kids (3 and 5). I mean - I don't care if my son rather wears a Spiderman shirt to day care instead of the Hotweels shirt I put out. But he will not go in shorts when it's winter. I think it says something about my position as a mother and the respect my kids have for me, if I cannot get them dresses properly and in time. And how on earth will I be able to make my teenager believe me when I say drugs are no good when I couldn't even get him to believe that jeans are a better choice than shorts as a toddler? At least that's how I see it.

At least that's how I see it. You are a very sensible and caring mother, Mrs. JG. Your thinking is exactly right, IMO. It's a parent's job to teach their children how to make rational and sensible choices. There's a school of thought that says children will learn by their mistakes, so let them, for example, wear the wrong clothes and discover how uncomfortable or unsuitable they are. But I say, that forces the child to waste precious time learning what someone else--their parent--already knows and can help them to master. From these pictures of Suri Cruise, I get the impression the parents are letting the child think she's an adult. She's adopting a grown-up look and behavior that is not appropriate for a little girl.

Letting Suri act out being an adult will bite themin the rear when she get older. She will want to be more independent at a very young age and might not learn from her mistakes...Hopefully it won't we will have to see.

Oh gosh seems that Cruise daugther wish to grow up too faslty, i don't know what to say, just that personally i would never make wear to a child this kind of shoes, as are also dangerous for health, the childs growing fast, and so the lenght of the feet and their needs are quite specifics, i don't think that this shoes are made expecially for kids.... Surely my friends that have kids let their little girls play a bit with adults clothes and shoes too, but would not allows them to wear heels....
