So sorry to hear that. Was it only one sheep or more? Maybe some wild animal did it?

Yeah I think it was some wild animals, I do know that it had to be more than one animal, definately. But they certainly weren't foxes. :x It was just one little sheep. She was so cute, but stupid. I still don't understand though, because she always sticks with the herd of alpacas, and they kick threatening wild animals to death so... -_- owell, what's done is done... Sorry that was a bit of a depressing thing to post guys..
I love my avatar too =)

No Lauren, why you said that you've bothered us? I think you were right put it down here what's happened, you loved that sheep, and if my words, as well as all the other whom supported you helped you a little that's the main matter. So don't feel sad ok? It's all fine <3

Maria and Liz are definately right, Lauren. While we are mainly here for Jake we are a community after all and therefore help one another!
I had a distrubing experience yesterday evening too. Around 8pm (already dawning) we drove home from my parents house. While driving up to our house my hubby said that he thinks he saw our elderly neighbor laying next to her fence. She is a bit wired so he didn't think much of it, but I got a bad feeling and so I went around to check on her. Sure enough she had passed out and hit her face on the concrete floor. There was a large amount of blood and her nose seemed to be broken. Since she had her phone next to her I called my hubby and he came and helped me sit her up. Then he ran to our next door neighbor who is a paramedic and got him to look at the lady. He took one look and immediately called an ambulance. Turns out the lady had a stroke. Temperatures still get very chilly at night and I am not sure that anybody would have seen her once it had gotten dark. She did have a phone with her, but I am not sure she could reach it as she could not get up on her own. Also - her husband is bedridden and since she had the phone he couldn't even have called for help. Another neighbor and I stayed with the husband until his daughter could be informed and came over to spend the night. I called this morning - seems like she will be released from the hospital today, she has a mild concussion and some serious bruises on her face, but other than that she's okay. I sure am glad to live in a neighborhood where one still cares for the other.

well, I'm all new to this board, but I second Sasha, Maria and Liz ... we might come for a reason but sure we shall support each other and give comfort on other subjects too @sasha not sure what to say. It's really nice you took care of the situation. I'm sure here in Hamburg you could pass out in front of the grocery store and you would most certain be shoved away to free the entrance 0.o

I was thinking the same thing - as much as I hate being in a small village every now and then - when it comes to emergencies it's the place to be!

Thanks so much everyone. She is back from the hospital now and her daughter brought us flowers - roses and lilies - very beautiful, as a thank you.

Sasha - What a good neighbour you are! Thanks heavens that you were passing by and your husband saw that lady. I believe in small towns people know each other and care much more than in the big ones. It was so sweet of you to take care of a lady's husband as well. So you had an uneasy night.
