The wedding will be at 3pm and go on all night. The 50ies dress was my first choice too, as I know the bride is not into very formal dresses, so probably she won't be wearing something too fancy either.
I think I will go shop around anyway, maybe I find something better. Otherwise I know I have something to use if I don't find anything new.
Thanks girls!

You're welcome Sasha, i guess that you can go as well for a dress knee long shirt, maybe in some color like sage green, something maybe into cocktail style, BTW if the bride didn't war something that formal even if suits to the cleberation the red dress isn't a appropriate.

Wow Sasha, that red dress is really stunning and you look so great in it!!! But maybe not 100% appropriate for this wedding, it's so stunning, people could maybe think you are the bride I don't know if I could give you any advice, but I think Maria did give you some great advice!

Thanks Els, I really love that red dress but I don't have a whole lot of possibilities to wear it.
Thanks for your advise Maria. My personal fashion adviser! :-)

Can I just say love sucks? Sorry I haven't been around much, I haven't forgotten about Jake or all you wonderful IHJ people. I got caught up in a a wonderful romance with a wonderful man, and I just got my heart broken, and I'm never falling in love again. Just going to love Jake from a far..

Oh Marie. That's terrible. It hurts so much when your heart breaks! Consider yourself hugged from me! Cuddle up in a big blanket with a glass of wine and some chocolate and watch PoP - that should help.

I'm so sorry Maria. I know what you are going true. I've been there as well. I know it will sound like truism, but time really cures. And if this romance didn't last, maybe it was not worth. And now you are free to find real love. But in the meantime it's your grieving time. Take good care.

I heard this song yesterday, and have been thinking about you Marie:
Are you starting to feel better?

I like that song a lot. I will add something. I met that guy who kind of broke my heart - years later, few times even and though it was still nice to chat with him (he was my good friend back then) I never regretted, it didn't work out. I am like Jake - I never regret even bad things, they are good life's lessons. And by the way he was not happy at all with a woman he choose instead of me. Because he found out that she didn't love him really, just wanted to have a husband. But I didn't have any satisfaction from that fact, I was sorry for him. And was wondering, if we would ever be happy together. I was not sure at all. So, Maria, cheer up. There are many great guys in the world, just be yourself and be absolutely open for love.

That's a nice story, Mermon. Well not what happend to you, but that you were able to handle it so well.
I once heard a nice saying: "If you keep feeling bitter about what people did to you, it's like trying to kill the other person by drinking poisend water yourself." It's only going to hurt yourself, the other one might not even realise! Maybe that's easier said than done, but like Mermon said: "Time will eventually heal all wounds (if you let it)."
