I'm sorry for you. To have Jake that close... sigh. It's strange, that they kept it in secret, or maybe it was fast decision, like a stop between Madrid and Berlin. Or maybe it's only for press.

It's something that surpriced me as well, i think you're right, maybe it's juts for press, or few lucky Gyllenhaal's fans have the change to attend the screening, usually it's random, they send you a mail or call you at home, and check if you'll goint to find interesting the movie, i know that usually are people non fans, as those that watching ahve to fiel a review about the movie, I'm think as you as well that maybe it was something planned at last moment, but, don't get me wrong, i have the feeling that Italy is on secon level in comparison to all other Europe country, maybe thay cook a screening such hastily as LAOD cashed a lot in my country... i cannot say i'm happy, i'm a bit sorrowed....

I am so sorry Maria that you are not able to be going. WDW has a nice picture of Jake with one of the WDW-girls! I hope I will get one as well!

Wet Dark and Wild - that's how Robert Downey junior described our Jake, knowing him personally! ;D
From RDJ interview: - isn't that sweet?

I don't wish to poke Rober Downey Junior LOL ;D but there's no comparison at all between Steve McQueen and Jake Gyllenhaal, surely Gyllenhaal is hot, but McQueen is a bloody masculine man

Maria - I think that resemblance is in charm, a bit of shyness, friendliness, effect on women, sweet smile, some aura around, general sweetness. I think we will find Jake quite masculine in SC. He ripens like a fruit. The biggest difference for me is that Steve seemed to be introvert and Jake is a very open person. And Duncan wrote some nice words about Rome in his blog Have I cheered you up a bit?

Sorry Mermon, no comparison, Gyllenhaal is definitely gorgeous young man, but Seve McQueen is an absolutely pure male juice 100%, i doubt that just a movie can change my pov ;D Oh see very interesting, the classic english view about italian cities, but isin't that much interesting, are the usual common way about the eternal city, pizza, mandolino, limone, pasta, food espresso coffee, that i've read everywhere, it's like been in Paris and talking about baguette, Chanel or champs elysees, or Louvre....

I can totally understand your mood, Maria. I would feel the same way knowing that Jake is so close and yet so far. I still feel like he's not going to make it to Berlin for some odd reason...
And thanks, Mermon, for posting the quote from RDJ - I read it so many time I keep forgetting that not everyone is familiar with it ;D

Actually Sasha i'm a bit down for the way the thing was handled, like Italy it's a second level country, but this isn't a matter of Gyllenhaal, honesty it's something that upset me most reading allway the same Bullshit about my country, that's all......Jones can take a good hystory book and then read a bit about what was and is Roma, and what means in ancient times, i'm sick of read everywhere the same silly comment, food, pizza, pasta, limone, limocello, mandolino, caffè, fashion, Italy and Roma are much then this, i'm sure then he'll going say the same commonway when he'll hit Paris. I hope you can have nice in Berlin <3
