Did you mean the dozy embrace?I love that part, it's such masculine but sweet embrace at the same time, interetsing..... If i remember correct Ennis say to Jack"You're sleeping like horse..." and then he start singing at Jack's ears a lullaby that Ennis's mother used to sing in his childhood.....

thats correct! it so sweet when he whispers and hums and then he leaves and jack watches him go. its heartbreaking cause they only have few moments together and still they love each other so much!

it's one of the scene i like most, cause they're two man, reallymasculine, and machos, due to their own work i mean, and they love each other, without left behind tenderness..... I'll to post the gif i've done with that scene dear, i'm sure you would like it!

Well, the true is, that I like all Jake's movies. He acted so well in all of them. And it's such a joy to see him as different characters. My favourite movie ever is BBM, the best from all the movies I have seen in my life. It moved me, it touched me, it charmed me. It was so bitter-sweet. On second place, I think, it's still Donnie Darko, a kind of movie jewel for me. I wouldn't described it as a horror movie. Jake is great in it. The story is great, very interesting and mysterious. If someone plans to watch it, I recommend theatrical version as a first one to watch and then, to understand more - a director's cut. The first one was more difficult to understand, but much better, I think. And the music in that first version fitted movie much better. The music plays huge role, creates atmosphere and is really amazing, since the first beginning. Jake plays with Maggie. They play siblings. It took me a lot of time and search to understand that story, which was very exciting to me. That's why I've watched DD many times to understand as much as possible. There are many great actors in that movie. I have few favourite scenes. One - is a third kissing scene and moment when Jake goes down the stairs holding hands with Gretchen to the song - The Church - Under The Milky Way And the other one - Smurfs talk - Jake is brilliant in that scene. Donnie Darko - Smurfs One more thing about Donnie Darko. It has to be watched till the end. Without end is no movie, in that case. Some people don't like the beginning and stop to watch it. Big mistake. This movie doesn't exist without ending! On the third place is Prince of Persia - responsible for my love for Jake. And I think it goes together with Love and other Drugs. For me Dastan is the most charming and seductive from all his characters. Highway has a special place in my heart. Jake as a Pilot is fantastic and created great role together with Jared Leto. I like very much Proof, which is not liked by all gyllenhaalics. But for me Jake as a maths teacher is adorable. And movie is very good. With good actors. Jake was always lucky to play with good, famous actors. And was not shy away by them. Born to be actor! Moonlight Mile and Good Girl are very fine for me - on the same level. And Bubble Boy is an absolutely sweet movie. Jarhead and Brothers equal for me - very, very good with splendid Jake's acting. The less liked by me is Zodiac, which for many fans is the best Jake's movie. For me is slightly boring and too long. But Jake is great in it. I like his maturing character. And I thing Jake was looking very, very handsome in that movie. I decided to give it a second chance and I still can't force myself to it. Maybe it should be my next movie to re-watched. That's it.

sorry IMO Jarhead and Zodiac deserve an higther place in your chart, surely upper then Price of Persia, i know that "de gustibus non disputandum est " taste isn't disputable but honeslty Pricne of Persia is just a nice entratement movie, and Jarhead have so much more meaning, based an a true story, as well as Zodiac.Donni Darko surely it's a unique movie, i woudl like to see in your chart October Sky and The good Girl as well.. well simply everyone have it's own opinion, i guess era taste are simply different, i'm fine with.

I agree with you, Maria But indeed, everyone's got a different taste and that's allright, if everyone would have the same taste, it would be a bit boring
