I think that Holden, and Donnie are the most impressive and innovative performance of Gyllenhaal. I really really wish that he'll come back to drama, as he's very very skilled in portrayed unbalanced and troubled characters, in some way we can find some link in Jack Twist, a sort of "grown up" performance in his acting progress. I agree, I think he portrays mixed up, tormented emotional characters very well - I'd like to see more of these. I wonder if his character in An Enemy will be like that?

Have you read the book? I know they made some changes to it but if the characters remain somewhat true to the book, I think we will see something along those lines in An Enemy.

No I haven't read the book yet, I'll perhaps leave it till after I've seen the film so as not to spoil the plot :-) Long time to wait though! :-(
