The only "good" thing about it will be that it will most likely go straight to DVD and that I can order on amazon without having to wait until they decide to release it in Germany. With Brothers it took them over 1,5 yrs to finally get the movie into our theaters...

Aww, I remember those pics! Seems like forever ago they were posted on here on the older board. I believe they were the first and only pictures of Jake taken on the set of Nailed. RW had flown to be with him that weekend in May 2008 while filming in DC, and they seemed like a very happy couple back then. They were sweet pictures.
It's such a shame that this movie has gone nowhere. It's like in purgatory. It had such promise, and a really interesting cast. With David O Russell's success recently with The Fighter, you'd think Nailed would be revisited.

^ Thanks for posting monica! It's a great trip down memory lane. I hope to see Nailed soon. I imagine with everything that happened, the film itself will not be that great, but it is always good to see a new Jake performance.

It always gets me moody to see Jake with Reese. He seemed to be so happy back then. If I had one wish for free, I would wish for Jake to find his soulmate before summer. Even if I know that it couldn't be me, I just want him to be happy. He so deserves it.

Why before summer, Sasha? It will be interesting if he still will be single and play a man in love. Usually when he was adult and played with some nice actress like Anne Hathaway, Michelle Monaghan, Gemma Arterton he was involved with somebody else and and his co-stars were also having someone. That time he may have a chance to meet love on the set. Remember? The same happen during Rendition, he met Reese. On the other hand it may be hard for him to play intimate love scenes if he's a man "in needs" I like him strong enough to wish him to find love at last, even if it won't be me. Just like you Sasha. Thank you for showing us all those pictures, Monica. Thanks heaven, someone made/took them. In that way we have a substitute for a movie. For me it's also painful to see Jake and Reese together, holding hands, from the same reasons - he was so happy then.

I feel the same girls, He looked so extremely happy in those pics with her and i have to admit i was a bit mad when i found out she married someone else after splitting with Jake, it just seemed like a slap in his face to me. I as well hope he will find love one day, He's such a great human being and deserves all the happiness in this world, But hey we can all hope it could be one of us right? lol

mermon - I was thinking about filming "End of Watch" when I said "before summer". Isn't that shooting in June? I really hope they cast him a nice lady without strings, he can fall for. I have given it a lot of thought and as much as I admire him, even if I were single I am not sure I'd be a good match for Jake and vice-versa. I can be quite a show-off at times and I like to be the center of attention. Jake seems to be much more drawn-back (given his job). Plus I am not available anyways - and Jake doesn't seem to be a guy to hit on a married woman. So even if he did - I'd be kind of disappointed. Gheez - I am one messed up girl, there's just no pleasing me. I was really bummed when Reese and he broke up, cause I like(d) Reese as an actress and I was happy for them to be a couple. I know she hurt him a lot, but I think she did the right thing. Isn't it way more cruel to stay with somebody you don't love wholeheartetly and thus making it impossible for both of you to be happy? Of course it must be bad for Jake to see her get married so quickly after they split, but sometimes you just know that person is the right one for you. I don't think that necessarily says anything about your feelings for your old partner.

You sound like a strong woman, Sasha. Liking to be in centre? Aren't you a Leo, by the way? As far as we know, Jake likes strong women. Me, contrary, I'm an observer, liking to be in the shadow or in the crowd. I hate when the attention is focused on me. I would feel very uncomfortable with a celebrity by my side and all the media attention. But for Jake I would make an exception. ;D

No, actually I'm a Virgo. That's not supposed to mix too well with Jake's sign, is it? I'm sure it's different when you're a celeb and have that attention all the time as opposed to just when you choose it, but yesterday we had to "dress up" at work because we had some very important clients at the company. I wore a tight black skirt (similar to the dress I wore in Berlin) and a short black button-down jacket and high heels. I got loads of compliments, even from the girls at work. I have to admit - I could get used to that kind of attention.

I'm like you mermon, I prefer to blend in than to stick out and HATE having attention focused on me as well. I'm sure being with a celeb would be hard on girls like me but I would be willing for jake lol & Sasha i bet you looked AMAZING

Sometimes people praise your look, but you don't feel good looking at all. And the other day you wear clothes in which you feel fantastic even if nobody notice that. I think the best, like in your case, when people praise you and you agree with them.

totally agree with you mermon... If you wear something and don't feel 'sexy' or 'pretty' in it then most ppl wont care because they will kno you don't feel comfortable in it...
