That book sounds totally like something I would read! I love crime thriller books! James Patterson is one of my favorite authors! If I can get through the Twilight Series in the next month or two, I may just have to look for that one!

Just read "Otto giorni con Montalbano" and now I'm reading "Nuove avventure con Montalbano", both books are from the Easy Readers series C, I like it a lot, I can see my Italian is improving a bit Short police-detective stories (in Italian) about the cases commissario Montalbano has to solve, often with sort of a surprising twist at the end

I love detective stories! It's what I usually read! I am now on book 3 of Twilight..Eclipse! The 4th movie, Breaking Dawn, comes out in about 3 weeks. I would love to finish the 4th book before I see the movie but I don't see that happening! UGH!

"A Monster Calls" by Patrick Ness. Quite a sad book about a boy who's mother is suffering from cancer. Makes you think!

I love Dan Brown!
I am reading "50 Shades of Grey". I know, I know. I didn't want to at first, but a friend "forced" them on me. They are not as bad as I thought they would be, but it's kind of "fast food". I'm half way into the second book right now, but had to take a break because the story kind of repeats itself after a while.

HI Sasha!
I haven't read Fifty Shades yet. But from what I've heard I really think Jake should be Mr Grey in the film version?!? Seeing as how he likes to get naked n all.... ;-)

Nice avatar pic, Amanda!
No, that is ONE movie Jake should stay away from. I don't see how they can turn it into a movie without either getting an NC-17 rating or changing the story line to the point where it's not the same story anymore.
Aaand for large chunks of the first book Christian Grey is not appealing to me. Besides being ridiculously handsome I see nothing of Jake in him. Plus - Christian Grey is usually half dressed during the sex scenes, so we'd not even have the pleasure of eye candy.

Other than my lovely stats text (sarcasm...) I'm reading Out of Oz by Gregory Maguire, the fourth book in the Wicked Years series which I really recommend checking out if you haven't already. It's an awesome view on the Wizard of Oz stuff with some pretty interesting twists
