Let see...ON my hubby's birthday we went to see Cars 2 with the kids...It was very cute and well done. The kids loved it. It cost us 52 dollars to go see the movie...30 dollars to get in and 22 on JUST drinks...no food.
I also have see Zodiac. That was a good movie. I loved the way they show how this murder affects people lives. How become obsessive about it. I have see documentary on the subject and had forgotten they had a suspect. It was really good to see.
I have finally seem Source Code....Maria it was worth the wait..seen twice back to back...I know that you have read plenty on it but it is worth the wait. I don't want to spoil the movie for you but get it when you can.
While waiting for my kids at karate class I recommended it to another parent who wasn't sure if she wanted to see it BUT she said she loved it...
I think I'm caught up. ;D

I watched The Switch a few weeks ago. I really liked it. I also watched Going The Distance just recently. Super good if you haven't seen it. Justin Long and Drew Barrymore are in it. Such a great movie!! Tonight my hubby are going to watch The Social Network. I can't believe it's taken me so long to see it.

I saw "Mission Impossibel III" the other day. I have seen it before, but only now I saw the Jake connection: Michele Monaghan playes Tom Cruises finacée. In one scene she is in danger and Tom Cruise says to her: "Everything is going to be alright." Reminded me of Source Code!

My kids are begging to see it too but right now they are only showing it in 3D and my kids are too young for that (Kids cannot process 3D in their head until they are around six years old, before that their eyes and brain cannot make one picture out of it.) I refuse to pay an extra 4 bucks per person for something they cannot enjoy. So we'll wait for the 2D in a couple of weeks.

I saw "The next three days" with Russel Crowe and Elisabeth Banks yesterday. It's about a couple who's live is turned upside down when the wife is accused of having murdered her boss. She's getting a life sentence (because all evidence says she did it) and all appeals are put off. Finally there is no more change to get her out of jail and the wife is so depressed over it, that she tries to take her life. After that her husband decides that he cannot live like that and starts planning to break her out. He starts a few attemps and almost gets himself caught. One of the detectives tells him: "Imagine what it would be like for your (then six year old) kid if both parents end up in prison." Finally they get notice that the wife will be transfered into a higher security prison father away in only 3 days and the husband knows, if he doesn't strike now, he'll never get her out. The story is very tense almost to the last minute. You never know if the wife is actually "worth" it, because the evidence is watertight and halfway through the movie she admits she did it. The husband starts breaking the law for real while trying to prepare everything and you know that he really should be in prison for what he does, yet you still want him to make it. The last few minutes are very tensly cut, while the police is closing in on the family on the run.
It had me clinging to my seat till the end, Russel Crowe did a superb job with his character - I highly recommend it.

Thanks for the review Sasha, i hope to be able to see this movie, as i love Russel Crowe, he's awesome, teh best living actor, every character he've portrayed deserved an oscar! He's impressive and bloody talented! Funny about the connection that you've find between Mission Impossible and Source Code, definitely Gyllenhaal is always in you head Sasha Yes, he is, Maria! Did you ever listened to Kylie Minogue song: "Can't get you out of my head"The text suit to our case I just can’t get you out of my head Boy your lovin’ is all I think about I just can’t get you out of my head Boy it’s more than I dare to think about I just can’t get you out of my head Boy your lovin’ is all I think about I just can’t get you out of my head Boy it’s more than I dare to think about Every night, every day Just to be there in your arms Won’t you stay Won’t you then stay forever And ever and ever and ever I just can’t get you out of my head Boy your lovin’ is all I think about I just can’t get you out of my head Boy it’s more than I dare to think about
There’s a dark secret in me Don’t leave me locked in your heart Set me free Feel the need in me Set me free Stay forever And ever and ever and ever I just can’t get you out of my head
I just can’t get you out of my head
