It's funny how we never like what we have? I always thought that green eyes are boring. Grey sounds really special to me. that is so true! its always what you dont have you want for yourself and vice versa

I have blue eyes, like my hole family from both sides. It's pretty common in my country. I like the most green and brown eyes, maybe because they are so seldom in Poland. With blue eyes strange thing happens - their colour depends from the light. They are grey sometimes, sometimes pale, and sometimes dark blue.

I guess the grass of ur neightboor is alwys greenr then! The eyes works exalctly lika a camera's zoom, expand and tighten according to the light, and their color changes a little... Gyllenhaal eyes as well IMO in some shooting, expecially in daylight change its colro to gray...

I agree that the color of eyes that is rare in our own country is probably the one appealing to us. I know a lot of people with green color so it's nothing special to me.
Maria, that's interesting what you say about the color changing by the light. I think you're right, because my boys eyes are a very deep blue but in the sunlight they seem to get a greenish touch, almost turquoise. It's the most unique color I have ever seen. And since he has very long, thick eyelashes (every girls envy), he has beautiful eyes.
That's why Jake's eyes are so appealing to me as well, because they are framed by such a nice set of lashes and with those thick dark brows as a backdrop they have this extrem glow to them.

I am afraid so, Mermon! Now that I have a son myself I can truly understand why my MIL was not too happy when her then just turned 20 son decided to marry a girl he hadn't even known for half a year!

MrsJakobGyllenhaal - Yes - "The point of view changes together with the sitting point" - we use to say. When you become a parent suddenly you understand your own parents. The bond between mother and son and between father and daughter is very magical and special. Very often no woman is good enough for a Mother of the man. I know your story, it was very romantic.

Well, we do get along really well now, after we really got to know each other. She only has boys and now she found out that it's not so bad to have a "daughter" around. Her boys are not the talkative kind so she enjoys having talks over coffee.

I know your story, it was very romantic. Yes, indeed, Mermon, that was a very special thread on the WDW board when everyone shared their love story. One day we should do that here too!
