Thanks Maria and Jakesgirl! I was thinking about writing to the local paper and ask them if they'd want me to do a report for them in exchange to paying my train ticket... But I kind of feel foolish doing that. It's kind of desperate, right (which I am by the way).

Oh Sasha,I feel so terribly sorry for you! You have to make it to Berlin, I need you there!!! I can't believe that it'll be true, that I see him in person, and maybe have the chance to sit only a few seats away So far I've booked front row seats, and conviced a friend to come with me to Berlin, she has no idea who Jake is, I guess I'll have to borrow her a few of my DVDs before next thursday

Sasha, I think it's great idea with that report for the local paper. Maybe they will be interested. You have nothing to loose. You have 50% chances they agree. ;D Just call them, or go there and make impression. Imagine yourself as an actress and play a role of volunteer journalist.

Covering my clothing issue from the "What's your fav. Jake movie" thread: I plan on wearing a black dress: I tried the sand colored version on in the shop and it fit me, but sand is not a good color for me, so I now ordered the black version online (it's from H&M), I hope I get it in time. Which shoes would you recomment, Maria? Lovely dress, personally i avoid black color, but as i've seen your pic beige colro don't suit to your skin tone that much, so you went right in buying the black one. as shoes you need something confortable, but a bit hight heeled heels, maybe something 6Cm height could works, or a bit higther with wedge or a semi-boots i would suggest open toe, black, in patent leather, with matching belt, or something in contrast color, all its works but blue and brown, check here: www.mizztissa.com/blog/2008/05/23/open-toed-boots/Semi open toe boots www.lovepumpsshoes.com/christian-louboutin-glitter-netlike-mini-heels-golden-p-1980.htmlClassic open Toe www.lovepumpsshoes.com/christian-louboutin-black-leather-peep-toe-shoes-p-404.htmlWedge open toe I have black high heels with a small silver buckle and about 8 cm heel that are very comfortable and are very flattering to my legs, so I was thinking about wearing them. But those black Louboutins are to die for. And I was thinking about using a black silk stole with a rose pattern (it's black too, so you only see up close). And a single strand pearl necklace with matching earing. How does that sound?

I just spent like 20 min on the phone with the train company in germany. I could get to Berlin on a "Across the county"-ticket for 42 EUR - but it would take 12 hours, I need to change trains like 7 times and I will be in Berlin (at the main train station) at 9 pm - 30 min AFTER the movie started. So that'll be no good either! Since I life close to the Austrian border, I will check their train system now, maybe they have a special to Germany...

Sometimes (actually we don't know how it's in EU) but here in our country buses are much more cheaper than trains. Maybe you can find a good one?

Ah, cracks me up: if I get on a train in my hometown and go to Berlin via Munich it will be (on the ICE, the quick train): 180 EUR If I get on the same train in Austria (their train station is like 15 min by car from mine) it will be 120 EUR!!! How can that be?
It will still be tight. I'd be in Berlin by 6 pm, need to get to the hotel, change and be at the cinema by 8pm. My best call still will be to convince my work mate as with a car we're much more flexible.
Hi twins - long time no read! Thanks for taking interest in my quest! I checked busses too, they are actually a lot cheaper, but I will never make it on time.

Oh yes, too many things with the university so we just come here and read some threads. :/:/ Anyway we really really hope you'll go to Berlin because imagine it's such a good chance to see Jake live. If we were you we would die but did everything we can and even can't do for this trip
