It's from last September but I'm not sure I saw all of it before. Thanks. (It wouldn't play for me from that link but it is on youtube too) I know it was filmed in September b/c of the background, but I believe this portion is a new release. I would have remembered him talking about the teacher he thinks of when 'being Julian'. I thought he sounded very articulate and not stoned (for uhh lack of uhh 'nother ya know word ). Juno, please post the youtube link for all the others not in the US. I am sure that is the problem with my link.

Juno, please post the youtube link for all the others not in the US. I am sure that is the problem with my link. Thank you for the link. I can see the vid, so i don´t think that this is a European problem. This is my pic of the day. He was 26 at the time but i think he could pass for 15. Please don´t call the cops - i´m certainly not a pedophile but i kind of like that androgynous and boyish touch. The young lady is Kathy Brier who played Marcie Walsh on ABC's One Life to Live. She and Randy were actor interns at the Forestburgh Playhouse located in New York's Catskill Mountains resort area sometime in the late 1990s. The picture was taken at an afterparty for a production of Cabaret in which they had small roles (I think Randy played a German sailor) I googled it. I found this tiny pic. Is it from the play you mentioned? It´s the end of semester- hooray!

[ I adored A single man too. Confession- Colin Firth was my very first celeb crush - I fell for him when he played Mr Darcy in P and P.....please tell me I'm not the only one! You are not the only one. I've seen a lot of Colin Firth's films and just saw a dynamite interview he did on Inside The Actor's Studio on TV. A Single Man might just be his very best. The picture itself wasnt one of excellence imo, but his acting was on a par with the very best. The scene where the camera stays on him and he doesnt say anything for a long time was pure genius. His face says it all. He's great also in The King's Speech. After the discussion here I got myself a copy of A Single Man and just watched it. I immediately recognised Nicholas Hoult (Kenny) who was the lead in the original Skins in the UK. I know thats one of Barbara's favourites.

Hi All,
Juno, that actor is very pretty, almost as pretty as Randy, but of course I am a little biased. ;D
I wonder if Randy and the BF are having some romantic get away for V-Day? As long as Randy as Happy, I can deal with the romantic, sappy stuff.

I think it's hilarious that we all have a mutual love of Gale and Colin Firth! ;D I was so embarrassed admitting that to y'all I was 11 when P & P first came out and I became obsessed with Colin and Jane Austen for about a year until I moved on to greener pastures, namely Callen Mulvey who played the 'bad boy' on this Aussie soap called Heartbreak High....he wore an eyebrow earing and everything! lol Where are you Lilacwine - tell me you remember Heartbreak High!! Hi there Merlinkitten, I love CF too ! (especially PP, but for all sorts of other things also). I hope he gets the Oscar. But, Merkitten, I would prefer to say “a mutual love of Gale, Randy and Colin Firth” (but maybe you don’t love poor Randy quite so much?). I vaguely remember “Heartbreak High” but not Callen Mulvey – sorry. I just looked up the IMDB. He was Mark Moran in “Underbelly”. OK, I know him from that. Thanks for your correction the other day regarding the fan in the coffee shop who accosted Gale. Yes, I see it was Minneapolis, not the Berkshires. I did like reading that fan’s reports, but there is no way I would ever approach Gale or Randy like that (or even after a play). I think it would be a cringeworthy experience. I’d be quite happy to sneak a look at either one of them though (I saw David Stratton reading a film magazine in a restaurant today, but that doesn’t really cut it, does it?). ITA! Not that I'll ever get the chance to meet Gale or Randy, but I know I could never rock up to them and start a conversation....sneaky peeks from the sidelines will do me fine BTW - I see your David Stratton and raise you a Margaret Pomeranz! I served her a flat white once

"and Gale what is with the shiny suit, pink shirt and tie fine but the shiny suit is a no no" The suit looked awful in pics but from those fans who saw him that night at the Grammercy Hotel, it looked great, it wasnt really shiny. I've been told that it was a vintage suit brought back from Paris for him by a friend. Where did you hear that, about his suit, Barbara? I wonder which friend bought it for him? Grapes - I love your picspam. Where is the first pic of Galey sitting down from? It looks slightly stalkerish!

The part that Nicholas played was very strange, I never quite figured out what he was about but yes, I loved him in Skins. Too bad they decided to copy it (badly) in the US. I love Matthew Goode too, too bad he didnt have a bigger part. The thing about Colin Firth that is so much like Gale is that they can both express emotion through their faces and body language better than most.

I heard it from one of the directors/producers he's worked with.

elly , I know nothing about the picture, but just from seeing it I'm pretty sure the lady's Yara Martinez. There are some other pics from Tumblr (that I have no further info on) that I haven't seen before: hm, this one makes me thirsty and the last one I post just to enjoy... for those who have dirty minds like I do when I look at this and who consider this QAF moment to be one of the most important in the series
