Nice interview with Randy... Everytime I watch or read an interview with him, it always comes to my mind how likeable his personality is. What I find most appealing about him is the "well-balanced" mix of being shy, modest and considerate and, at the same time, being straightforward and not afraid to stand up for himself. I also think that he's very easy to identify with. I have to say even though I'm primarily a fan of Gale, I do understand Randy more. Gale's in a lot of ways a mystery to me. As for Fertile Ground and its bad reviews... well, I don't care that much. I'm going to watch the movie anyway. I also think Gale deserves better roles in better movies, but we all know how things work, and especially in that business... I think all people, Gale included, sometimes have to face dilemmas based on whether to be idealistic or pragmatic in a certain situation. I still haven't worked out a few things myself, so I try not to blame people for acting in a certain way. For example , I don't think that Julian Parish/ the blond cheerleader relationship makes any sense (Julian seems to be too mature for her and not interested... could be gay, if you ask me ), but so far I've come to conclusion -> the more minutes of Gale on screen, the better, so... I mean, it's already a bad tv show, so can it really get any worse?

Hi all.
Tina, I agree with you about Randy, that is part of why I adore him so much. He is highly intelligent, but down to earth and utterly adorable all at the same time. ;D
GS, I love the new siggie, it is really cute.

I'd rather he was collecting unemployment than to be demeaned like this. It's not going to do his cred any good at all as regards being offered other work. My thoughts exactly! He should do more things like OD, DH or.. Wake. Wake was promising. But who knows, maybe he has two or three babies and is too busy with changing diapers. (Don´t shoot me for this statement, it´s just my own absurd theory) Does anyone know how old Yara is? Grape! My darling, i´m so relieved you´re here! I thought you were frozen or something. 2 inches - that must be... 5 centimeter? Ankle-high? Your V-siggy is great! We do celebrate that day in Germany but i don´t really like it. It´s too commercial for my taste. It´s raining all day so i think i´m going to watch one or two episodes from QAF-season 3 when my kid takes a nap. That´s long overdue. ;D

S3 is my favourite, for the reunion and Stockwell, but I think primarily because it's the only one which ends with B&J together and happy.
I just came around to s4 again and while I dislike the story lines in S4 my word didn't Randy act well in the pink posse and cancer stories.

Elly, Yara is 31. If she had Gale's babies (bitch!) that was one well-hidden pregnancy. She has been in stuff pretty regularly so I don't know when she'd have squeezed in une bebe.
They also haven't been seen together in almost a year (to my knowledge). I'm sure I'll piss off some people but we, or I, have no proof they are still (ever were?) together. Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'd love to know the truth!
The SNOW was more like toe-deep! That is major for central TX, everyone freaked out and wrecked their cars!
Now, it is Super Bowl Sunday so I'm going to go to the grocery before it turns into a mad house!

grapesmugglers , as for celebrating Valentine's Day, I'd say nowadays people in all European states celebrate it in one way or another. I'd say it differs depending on the history, the traditions of the countries... Slovakia, where I come from, is a very young state whose economics transformed from socialist to capitalist cca 20 years ago and you can tell that from the way a lot of things (don't) work here. In the last 20 years we've been building free market economy and as a result of globalization we've adopted also a lot from the American culture, celebration of the Valentine's Day included... So, people here know about it and some celebrate it, but it's still something new and it is still being only internalized in our culture .And of course, alongside the ones who enjoy it and celebrate Valentine's Day, there are many who reject it, because of their nationalism or just a pragmatic attitude. I'm not proud to say (but it's true) that there are still many people in Slovakia (and over Europe as well) who reject everything automatically just because it's American... People have prejudice and when you try to talk with them about it, you find out they often have no arguments... It makes me angry, but at the same time I know such things result from not enough knowledge. And you can't really blame people for being stupid... But then again, it's not acceptable either. A lot of hatred is based on the lack of education and that's just too serious. Anyway, what I wanted to say is that I won't celebrate Valentine's Day, but that's just me and my pragmatic personality. That day really has nothing to do with me and my relationship with my boyfriend... we "celebrate" our relationship when we want to and the way we want to. We've been together for 8 years so we're more like buddies

Barbara i´m still surprised about that coincidence! I think it´s a sign of excitement that you talked so much. I can understand it. Did you tell him that you are a big fan? No, but it was obvious because he remembered me from the Boston DVD signing:) Even more of a coincidence--we both have the same vintage sub miniature camera ( Minox) which we discovered when we were both using them at the signing. I got mine in 1964 in Germany and he got almost the same model as a gift:) He was really nice, he gave me a web site to get some accessories I needed for the camera that I hadnt been able to find. He's really a good guy!

grape I also don't believe, that Yara and Gale were or are dating, because I don't want to believe it we haven't seen any proof and they seemed more like friends, than a couple, on pictures - to me at least. About Valentine's Day... I don't celebrate it either. My hubby and I don't need a special day to show that we love each other. We do that every day and give each other gifts or go out for dinner, whenever we feel like it and not just because it's a holiday that tells us to do that. Does anybody have the "ice cream kiss" picture of BJ and can post it on here please? photo stupidbucket deleted mine and I don't have it on my Laptop anymore.

Hi All, GS, I knew in the beginning of Hellcats they were pushing the possibility of a Marty/Julian relationship, which really turned me off the show. To think that they were going to use that student/teacher romance to promote the show, just made me cringe. I still think it is crossing a line that Gale's character would not do if he really existed and see it more as a publicity ploy than accurate character development/story telling. So, I still do not like the idea. I would not mind Julian having a relationship with someone, but he and Marty together does not work for me. I am sure others here will disagree. I dont think they would do it. It would be crossing a line and I think might be illegal because of the power differential.

The SNOW was more like toe-deep! That is major for central TX, everyone freaked out and wrecked their cars! LMAO! And i thought it´s about a little ice age! Oh, and thanks for the Yara info! tina As far as i know Valentine´s Day is not an American invention! It has its origin in England/Ireland from where British emigrants took it into the "new world". Anyway, what I wanted to say is that I won't celebrate Valentine's Day, but that's just me and my pragmatic personality. That day really has nothing to do with me and my relationship with my boyfriend... we "celebrate" our relationship when we want to and the way we want to. I agree with you 100%! Barbara wow- you were in Germany in 1964? Is that a typo? Anyways, i´m so happy for you that you had this wonderful experience with Gale. It´s so sweet that he remembered you. Juno i watched the full Stockwell saga at midday today and i´m still thrilled. Brian/Justin in black undies is my favourite scene. And i love love Randy´s hair at that time. Sorry for the picspam...

Really not sure anything will "happen" between Julian and Marti. However we might see Marti persue and Julian resist, for ethical reasons...

elly , I believe whatever you say about Valentine's Day because I really don't have a clue It's probably also a little sign of my own prejudice that I automatically thought a celebration like that comes from the U.S. Seeing that you are posting the icecream kiss pic, I also have one to post that includes Gale eating... well, kind of... or getting ready to eat?
