The poor sheep....can't wait to if they eat it. Thanks for posting the updates. Jake really puts alot of faith in Bear specially with just a thin rope between them.

I've seen this aftrenoon this video about the rope scene here: www.heatworld.com/Celeb-News/2011/07/The-9-OClock-News---Jake-Gyllenhaal-plays-with-Bear-Grylls-and-a-mountain/It have sound, i have to say that to me Gyllenhaal looks juts a bit nervosu, he just paying attention to the explanation of Grylls. I admire how he've manage the situation, and how he control his breath, surely an hard task but he've done, i respect him, not all was able to done something like this, and i'm not referring just to celebrities. About the securty well usually the mountain climbers have that equipment, a friend of mine climbed, and knots are made that way, so the hazard was minimal. I hope i can see the show surely interesting.

But at least he got a bit of preparation for this adventure, meeting all the jumping challenges in PoP. I don't think PoP really prepared him for the hights, because most scenes where he seems to be up high jumping down, he really was in front of a green screen, only a little bit up. But never the less - Jake is so brave, facing all these challenges. I'm just glad I know he returned home safely, otherwise I wouldn't be able to watch.

Jake is a very brave man indeed...I don't think it would have matter how much he prepared, he still wouldn't have been ready. Physically that is...mentally sure. The way he prepares for films, putting all of his mind into it I think helped him mentally stay focused.

Well so far i think he faced the task and the risk quite well, and in most of the scens of POP, sure wasen't such risky, but indeed he've done several, and at least was action.... I love how Gyllenhaa keep on thinking nad keept higth his attention, the scene of the rope is epic, it was a blast!

I don't have American Discovery Channel, hopefully someone will put the vid on the internet, I'm very excited to see this episode! You will be SO excited when you see this! Jake is amazing! Brave, strong, daring, tough, cooperative, funny, mischievous, uncomplaining. He and Bear get into some scary conditions and have to endure very hard weather and terrain. The part where Jake crawls the rope over the deep gorge raised my blood pressure the most--he admits he is not eager to do it, but do it he does, with skill and courage. He seemed so proud of himself for accomplishing this feat. He reveals a few things about himself too, so that was enjoyable to me. This episode will be posted soon on IHJ by Stephanie, I believe. It may also get onto YouTube or a site like Hulu, which has many TV episodes for viewing. (I don't know a lot about Internet TV, so maybe these programs can be seen only in the U.S.)
