Here is the translation:
Jake Gyllenhaal: "I am pretty good in bed"
Time for confessions. Why the star has no dread of being naked and how much he enjoyed shooting with Anne Hathaway he tells in our interview.
So much naked skin, a tingling affair and incredible sex. There has to be something between Anne Hathaway (28) and Jake Gyllenhaal (30), Hollywood rumored, as the first hot scene photos of "Love and other drugs" emerged. Not likely. As tempting as the two are lounging on the sheets, the passion was over after the movie was a wrap. For Jake's blue eyes sparkle for Taylor Swift (21) only. "She is no mere mortal like the rest of us. She makes me do things I otherwise never would do, " he says enthusiastically about his country girl. Why a relationship is important to the actor, how he got the attention of the 21-year-old and how one feels naked in front of the camera, Gyllenhaal says in an interview in London.
IN: You are a true flirting expert - at least in the movie. Can you tell us a trick that will work on women in real life as well.
JG: When you know you're using a trick it usually doesn't work that well anymore. But normally I start with showing interest in the woman I like. I have to feel really attracted by her and usually it then takes it's own course. I couldn't write a book about it though.
IN: You just turned 30. Do you increasingly think about love and relationship now?
JG: At least it feels that way for me. I don't know if it's my 30th birthday but I do think a lot about who I am, what I want and what's close to my heart. You could tie that to the number 30. But I know people who realise that at a lot younger age. And others who are a lot older and still don't understand anything. I just know that something is happening to me right now.
IN: Do you fell like it's easy for you to find answers?
JG: During an interview maybe but definately not in my real life (laughs).
IN: What does change for you right now?
JG: I feel good. I like where I am at right now. When I was younger I had a feeling of wanting to be further ahead. Now I arrived there and it feel really good.
IN: Let's talk about the nude scenes in "Love and other drugs". I looks like you spent days in bed with Anne Hathaway.
JG: At the beginning we made a decission to not have the nudity limited by contracts. You know that sort of stuff: "This part of the behind is off-limits, half the breast needs to be covered, and for sure no nipples!" In return we got to say if we were bothered by a take during cutting. Therefore we just went on with it and didn't really think much about the camera angle. (thinking) Well sometimes we did: since we shot with some wide angles I had to cover up a certain area every now and then. (laughs) But must of the time we were pretty much just naked.
IN: And you didn't think about the nude scenes before hand at all? Really?
JG: I don't really think about that that much. I just want to tell a good love story and develop a intensive, real realation to my co star. That's what I think about. The nudity kind of came with it. But now it's everything everybody is talking about. (laughs)
IN: How do you get intemate in front of the camera professionally?
JG: It happens over time. Normally only the four of five most important people are on set. And it did help Anne and I that we had stripped to the buff on "Brokeback Mountain". Cinematically speaking we had already been devirginized. That helped! (laughs) Since women are made an object of desire more often than men I usually let my partner choose what she is comfortable with. But when Anne came on set I felt she needed a lot less protection than others. In any case the situation was all good for us immediately. It is really difficult to describe what it feels like to undress together on set.
IN: According to director Ed Zwick you and Anne Hathaway spent several weeks prior to starting the shoot with developing chemistry.
JG: Yes, we rehearsed for about two weeks. Each day we'd go through the scenes anew. Some actors argue about getting as much attention as possible during a shoot. In my opinion Anne and I didn't do that. We both new we'd look good if we'd be able to use each others strenghs. (laughs)
IN: What would be your strengh?
JG: I am pretty good in bed. (laughs) At least I am a pretty good movie sex partner.
IN: Speaking of which: in the movie you sell Viagra. Have you tried it?
JG: If I say "No" everybody will write I didn't take my part seriously enough. If I say "Yes"... (laughs)
IN: How do you feel about your character Jamie Randell's perception that love is the only drug that can heal the sensation of loneliness?
JG: I don't know if loneliness is a disease. Loneliness is also a great teacher. Maybe it is even bad that we classify loneliness as a disease since in my opinion it's the only way to ever be in a longterm relationship. You have to know it (loneliness) well enough to cherish what you have. That's how I think about it and - oh god - I know sooo much! (laughs)
IN: Why is loneliness a good teacher?
JG: Ask Buddha! He says that. I think it is really important to deal with one alone every now and then.
IN: Today a lot of people are connected by the web yet still they are lonely. Have you experienced that?
JG: Sure. That's why the script made something in me ring. I thought: "We all have our problems." I know a lot of friend - and that does include me as well - who are in relationships they shouldn't be in or who experience true love. I know people who are not in love or who don't even know how to find love. This movie tries to tell us: If you really are in love hold on to it and make it work. If not, that okay too - but better let it go then. And if you cannot find true love then go looking for it. We live in a very fast paced society. Maybe it will become the fashion to look for old-fashioned love.
Captions:
Found true love? Privately sexy Jake is happy with the sweet Taylor Swift. Is this the true love? Gyllenhaal: "I will get burned very slowly." Good plan, no need to rush things...
Movie to see: During the viagra boom in the nineties womanizer Jamie discovers the most treacherous drug of all: love.

For Jake's blue eyes sparkle for Taylor Swift (21) only. "She is no mere mortal like the rest of us. She makes me do things I otherwise never would do, " he says enthusiastically about his country girl. I'm not to sure about this maganzine, it doesn't strike me very reliable. In any case I have never heard Jake say anything about Taylor in public and for sure not to a journalist, so I am not sure how true this is... I do hope for Jake she makes him feel this way though!

I'm not quite sure about this statement of Gyllenhaal too, sometime article mess up with word, or simply realted some phrase to someone specific, and maybe isn't in the intentions of celebrity, i'm quite surpriced if Gyllenhaal done some statement like this as he's quite protective witrh his private life...

That's what I thought too. He denies being with her for weeks and then he'd tell a third row gossip mag from Germany? Not a big US one? I too think it was a quote taken out of context.
@monica: you're welcome!

i guess the article play a bit with assumptions, and paste here and there some credible statement about Gyllenhaal provate life, assuming that obviosuly the women next to him is actually swif, but for sure he've never done something like this...
